Is OpenAM Up?

Installing OpenAM is the first step on testing the ForgeRock Single Sign On ( SSO ) Solution, but after you complete your installation for OpenAM you need to validate if the OpenAM is up and running.

Is OpenAM Up? Is OpenAM Running?

Also, validate if the OpenAM is up and running is required when you are doing some debugging or testing on production environments.

One easy way to do it is go to isAlive.jsp and wait for the Server is Alive output on the browser page.

Here we show you what you needo to do to check over HTTP whether OpenAM is up:

1. Point your application to the file under the OpenAM URL
a. Such as http://openam.demo.com:8080/openam/isAlive.jsp.
2. If the OpenAM is up, you’ll receive the next screen
