The need to connect and manage the continually increasing number of distributed digital identities across organizations has always remained a key challenges for enterprises. Prior planning, huge investments, and long lead time associated with the successful deployment of an Identity and Access Management (IAM) project was restricting small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt technological solutions related to IAM, but with the addition of a number of cloud-based applications across all SMEs, the need to manage multiple accounts and entitlements is expected to grow enormously.
