Gartner researcher Ant Allan recently released his latest research into Privileged Account Management (PAM) technologies, Technology Overview for Privileged Account Management (Subscription Required). The 14-page report offers multiple insights into the drivers of increased utilization of PAM, as well as functional requirements for technology to support PAM initiatives.

Allen reports Gartner sees increased interest in PAM on the part of its clients, with a growing focus on monitoring and session control capabilities.
