Google partners with Okta to enable secure multi-cloud deployments
Identity and device management provider Okta announced Tuesday that it’s forming a new strategic alliance with Google to help enterprises securely deploy multi-cloud, mobile-centric architecture, as well as applications like Google Apps.
Together, the two companies will provide a multi-cloud reference architecture. As customers transition to a multi-cloud environment, they’ll be able to use the Okta Identity Cloud to connect to legacy, on-premises technology. Okta and Google are also working together to equip global systems integrators, Google resellers and independent software vendors with training and tools to accelerate the move to the cloud. Additionally, Google has branded Okta as its “preferred identity partner” for Google Apps deployments in the enterprise.
