HID announced the availability of ActivID® Credential Management System (CMS) 5.2— the latest offering to simply and securely manage the deployment of high-assurance authenticators such as smart cards, smart USB tokens, virtual smart cards, mobile app certificates and mobile smart cards. An integral component of the HID ActivOne®, HID PIV Express™ and HID PIV Enterprise™ solutions, ActivID CMS is the only offering that makes it possible for organizations to create, manage and use a single authenticator for both logical and physical access—through an integrated solution from a single vendor.
ActivID CMS 5.2 offers new SCIM API and user experience improvements. Benefits include:
- Operator role management through the open standard SCIM 2.0 API, provided via a REST interface, enabling automated provisioning and de-provisioning of ActivID CMS operators from third-party identity management solutions
- PIN policy enforcement now matches specific cards restrictions for an improved user experience
- Support for Microsoft SQL server 2019 and Oracle 19c
