IGEL and Evidian make authentication on thin clients easier, quicker and more secure
With the latest version of the IGEL Linux firmware, the Bremen-based thin and zero client manufacturer is providing even more flexibility and security for companies. This is possible thanks to the integration of Evidian authentication software into Version 5.06.100 of the operating system. As a result, an employee only needs one strong authentication a day using an RFID card in order to open their session. During the day, this session can be called up throughout the company network simply by presenting the card at the client currently being used. This allows the employee to remain flexible, access their data anywhere and work effectively. When they leave their workstation, they take their card with them. This automatically locks the thin client session and makes the device available for use by other employees.
