Introducing Oracle Identity Cloud Service: Secure, On-demand Identity

IDCS represents one of many major investments being made by Oracle to provide security services that enable customers to safely adopt cloud solutions with Oracle and 3rd parties. Enterprises continue to rapidly move application workloads to the cloud, as shown in a recent Forbes survey that indicates business-critical workloads in the cloud are set to double in the next 24 months. While IT scrambles to meet this acceleration, the importance of identity and access management is emphasized by the 2016 Cloud Security Spotlight Report, which found that unauthorized access to sensitive data, through misuse of credentials and poor access control policies, is the single biggest threat to application security in the cloud.
