LogMeIn Is Following Obama’s Lead on Online Security in 1 Way

If you’re still only using passwords to protect your online accounts, you’re simply not doing enough to secure your information. Even President Obama, who isn’t always seen as a champion of online security, wrote in an op-ed in February that it’s time for Americans to “move beyond passwords” by adding an extra layer of authentication—something that big players like Google, Facebook and Amazon have enabled.

But the market for this kind of thing— identity and access management—is very big, and it’s only going to continue growing as demand increases for services that better protect our online identities. According to a new report by MarketsandMarkets, the market is estimated to grow to $12.8 billion in 2020 from $7.2 billion from last year.
