ForgeRock, born in California in 2010, has become a global player in ‘open source’ software and is looking to recruit up to 30 IT staff in the city. A software company funded by investors who have backed the likes of Facebook and Groupon will open their new UK base in Bristol this week, and are looking to recruit up to 30 “IT fanatics” in the city.

The firm, which will be based in Queen Square, can count the likes of Toyota, Allianz, CapGemini, Betfair, News International, Nomura, Vodafone and AOL as some of its key clients.
Earlier this year it received funding from Accel Partners – the global venture firm which has invested in some of the world’s best-known digital businesses, including Facebook, Angry Birds and Groupon.
The new Bristol HQ will be officially opened on Thursday and has invited the city’s IT firms and councillors who have backed Bristol as a UK open source hub. Check the ForgeRock Open Source New Base in Bristol
