Managing accounts within Blackboard’s solutions is a time-consuming task when data is maintained manually. Tools4ever’s User Management Resource Administrator (UMRA) offers the functionality to automatically manage student data in Blackboard’s solutions, by extracting relevant information from any school information system (SIS) (e.g. Banner, JPAMS or PowerSchool) and synchronizing it to Blackboard. Every time student information changes, this information is automatically detected by UMRA and updated in Blackboard’s solutions.
Specific actions that can be automated include: create user; update user name or location, change roles, reset password, get all users and delete user. Functionality can also be extended to additional actions such as class rosters for enrollment.
