The Austin Business Journal announced that UnboundID, a leading platform provider for identity services, is the No. 10 “Best Place to Work” in the small employer category (21–50 employees) in Central Texas.

Among the category’s 20 finalists were companies across various industries including technology, construction, financial services and professional services. This marked the first time UnboundID, a 4-year-old northwest Austin-based technology company, has received the honor.

The Austin Business Journal announced the rankings Wednesday at the “Best Places to Work” awards luncheon and ceremony at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center. UnboundID was one of 70 finalists after more than 300 companies were nominated. These companies have the best climate, team atmosphere, benefits and engaged employees in Central Texas. Rankings were measured on characteristics such as team effectiveness, alignment with goals, trust in senior leaders and work engagement. Employees said that one of the reasons they love working at UnboundID is the teamwork that occurs among them and with the leadership team. Everyone respects one another and there is a strong bond in the office. They said they have a sense of pride in the work they do and know that their work is valued at the company.
