Oracle Identity Manager requires you to register yourself with identity to Oracle Identity Manager to perform certain tasks thru the Self Service
In order to register to the Self-Service New user registration is:
1. User goes to the OIM system and submit the New User Registration Link
2. User complete the request filling the information like firtsname, lastname, email, authentication questions, etc.
3. User submits the New User Registration Form.
4. Oracle Identity Manager 11gR2 generates a request tracking number
5. Oracle Identity manager 11gR2 generate the approval for that request ( Request Approval )
6. The approver go to the OIM and access to the pending request
7. The approver select the request previously submitted and complete the information required.
– At this point the only missing information required is the organization
8. The approver fills the organization information, click the update button and save the request.
9. Oracle Identity manage 11gR2 generate another approval step(Operational Approval)
10. The approver goes to the IM and approves the request previously submitted.
11. Oracle Identity manager 11gR2 send a notification to the email provided for the user in the New Registration Form and Create the OIM identity in the system.
