VMware steps up iOS focus, launches Identity Manager

VMware on said it would invest more in developing industry applications for Apple’s iOS as well as build out its partner roster for its App Configuration for Enterprise (ACE) effort.

The news comes as VMware rolled out Identity Manager, a service that offers identity management for mobile cloud apps with a single sign-on. Identity Manager illustrates how VMware is further integrating its AirWatch enterprise mobility unit. The single sign-on works across VMware’s vCloud Air, vRealize and AirWatch suites.
