Every operation executed by Quest One Identity Manager will go to a Job Server to proceed with their execution.<br \/>\nOn the Quest One Identity Manager database there are some jobs that allow the product keep processing jobs:<\/p>\n<p>Those jobs are :<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 vid_DBScheduler<br \/>\n\u2022 vid_DialogSchedule<br \/>\n\u2022 vi_PayLoadSchedule<br \/>\n\u2022 vid_CompressJobQueueStats<br \/>\n\u2022 vid_ClearConnects<\/p>\n<p>Below is some description from each one of the jobs taken from the Quest One Identity Management Documentation<\/p>\n<p>o vid_DBScheduler<\/p>\n<p>The DBScheduler assumes the task of calculating processing tasks from the DBQueue. TheDBScheduler is called from the database ask \u201cvid_DBScheduler\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>o vid_DialogSchedule<br \/>\nThis database schedule checks the tasks in the system part of the Identity Manager database and runs the tasks at regular intervals.<\/p>\n<p>o vi_PayLoadSchedule<\/p>\n<p>This database schedule checks the tasks in the user part of the Identity Manager database and runs the tasks at regular intervals.<\/p>\n<p>o vid_CompressJobQueueStats<\/p>\n<p>When the configuration parameter \u201cCommon\\JobQueueStats\u201d is set, for any action that altersthe Job queue (such as changing or deleting a process), a new entry is created in the table \u201cJobqueuestats\u201d. The procedure vid_CompressJobQueueStats compresses the entries on anhourly basis and re-enters them with a new UID.
