Create a deferred task for a User in Quest One Identity Manager<\/h2>\n

Sometimes you need to assign a new value for a user in the Future. This can be accomplishing using the deferred task feature in Quest One identity Manager.<\/p>\n

On this example we will update the Job description for the user in the future.<\/p>\n

1. Select the Employees Navigation Tab and Select one user<\/strong>

\n2. Select Change Master Data and Modify the Job Description Field with the New Value \u201cConsultant\u201d<\/strong>
\n\"Quest<\/a>
\n3. Click the Object Menu and select Define Execution Time<\/strong>
\n\"Quest<\/a>
\n4. Choose a Date in the future & Click Save. You can put some remarks to later identify your change.<\/strong>

\n5. At this point your change has been saved in the Quest Identity Manager to be executed in the future.<\/strong>

\n6. To validate your changes, Select Database & Show deferred operations.<\/strong>

\n7. At this point you will see a task with the changes configured for the Quest One Identity Manager deferred task.<\/strong>
