So if you\u2019re a vendor looking to gain some attention, usurping the term \u201cbig data\u201d for your own solution is a no-brainer, regardless of whether the term is appropriate or not.<\/p>\n<p>Which brings us to an announcement today from identity management vendor Centrify. Centrify offers Single Sign On, multi-factor authentication and compliance auditing for enterprises \u2013 they\u2019re one of a series of startups in a similar space \u2013 Okta, OneLogin and Ping Identity being some others. And while the space has received lots of venture funding to date, it has also seen developments for larger platform players such as Microsoft MSFT -0.1% and Salesforce.
